Coach Auriemma is currently a Special Education Teacher in Science at Kell High School. Coach A started coaching at Kell in the Fall of 2016 and led the Lady Longhorns to their 1st Area Championship followed by two Sweet 16 appearances and a trip to the Elite 8 in 2019. Coach A began coaching Junior Olympic Volleyball in 2009 at Sky Volleyball Club in Kennesaw, GA. After that season, he founded a local volleyball club (Crossfire which is now Phoenix Rising Volleyball Club) in Cherokee County and has coached 100's of players ages 11U to 18U in that role. He enjoys teaching and guiding players through life in High School and the physical mechanics, mental aspects and strategic scenarios of the game. [email protected]
